Murchison Mining's steel escapeway modules offer
a fully enclosed, durable hot dip galvanized Steel product, it is not impacted by water, salt or other mineral deposits and is ideal for installs where ground squeezing is expected. It requires minimal upkeep, fits comfortably within a 1.1m raise bore and provides for the ultimate in user safety.
It is simple and efficiently installed up to a 60m length and represents great value for money for underground mines where a permanent life of mine escapeway is required.
These modules are constructed from 6mm rolled steel allowing for the void between the ladder module and the raise bore to be backfilled with a concrete mix to prevent rise failure.

Murchison Mining can fabricate and supply either 2 or 3 stringer caged escapeways up to 200m in length.
All escapeways are fully engineered and hot dip galvanized and are supplied with all bolts and ladder fixings for install.
